We are big believers in holistic health. Food is only one part of the equation. Another component of a healthy life is maintaining your joints and your flexibility. I personally am a fan of a nice mix of yoga, deep tissue massage and chiropractic adjustments. The combination of all three has helped me recover from a myriad of sports injuries and other aches and pains over the years. Plus, not only can I finally touch my toes, but I can get my hands flat to the floor. In any event, an awesome chiropractor in Boulder, Craig Shannon, has offered to give out coupons for a free session to test drive his services. This is not one of those hokey deals where you have to sign up for a bunch of future sessions or anything – just take your Modmarket receipt (coupon printed on the back) over to him and he will hook you up. He is a great guy and very knowledgeable about the role chiropractic adjustments can have in whole body health. Definitely worth checking out – plus it is free – all you have to do is eat at Modmarket first and score a receipt with a coupon on it!

Modmarket Catering in Denver and Boulder — 3/30/2010
Both Rob and myself are fairly addicted to working out. We were both pretty excited when the Colorado Athletic Club opened up a gym in the same center where Modmarket is located – working out is much easier when it is across the parking lot from your office. I have been going there since they opened and can honestly say it is the nicest, best equipped gym I have ever been a member at. The saline pool and hot tub alone are worth the price of admission. The peeps that run the gym are pretty cool too – we convinced them to give us an offer to give to all our customers. Next time you eat at Modmarket, flip over your receipt and you will see a free 5 day pass to the gym. How cool is that? Eat great food at the Mod, then go snag a yoga class and a hot tub across the street. Sweet.

So we have a new promo of sorts at Modmarket. From now on, on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings, kids under 12 can get a free side salad or half pizza (more than enough to fill up a little nipper) when a full size entree is purchased. So if Mom gets her full size Mongolian salad, little Sally can get her grilled cheese flatbread for free! Hope to see a bunch of kids chowing down on Modfood tonite!

Modmarket Catering in Denver and Boulder — 10/3/2009
Starting today, we are going to be offering tasty soups by Boulder Soup Works. This local company makes the best tasting (and healthiest) soups I have ever had. You may have sampled their goodness at the Farmer’s Market in Boulder (stop bythe FM today and say hi, we gave them a bunch of coupons to hand out). All of the soups are gluten free and many are vegan. We are going to be offering up two soups per day and changing up the varieties quite frequently. For the next few days, we have Potato Leek and Red Lentil Dahl on tap. Combined with our just in time for cool weather grilled cheese flatbread, our soups are a fantastic way to warm up your day.

Modmarket Catering in Denver and Boulder — 10/1/2009
So moms tend to love Modmarket. It could be the fact that our food is pretty good for you and reasonably priced or maybe the fact that kids LOVE to eat our flatbreads, we have lots of parking (perfect for stroller wielding patrons) and our ambiance is clean and relaxing. Whatever the reasons may be, we have recently partnered with an awesome group in Boulder called Moxie Mom’s. If you have not heard of them, check out their website here.
