Just over one year ago the first modmarket location was born in Boulder. It quickly became a favorite to locals, passersby, and those looking for an easy, delicious, affordable meal.  Fast forward 17 months and South Colorado Blvd in Denver has a modmarket to call its own.

What is modmarket? It’s fast food, that’s good for you. You may have heard the slogan before as chains across the country attempt to pair a little “good” with the “fast” in their menus. But the difference shows at modmarket with their soups, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas.

The entire menu is made from scratch crafted of fresh, local ingredients. Salad dressings, sauces, and pizza dough are all made daily in house. Place your order is placed at the front counter and then wrap around the prep line as your salad or sandwich is built before you. You can pick and choose, add and remove, and customize as you see your entree in front of you.

Pizzas are cooked in just a few minutes as the 500+ degree oven sizzles behind the line, and then delivered hot to your table. Customize your sandwich too, before it’s heated throughout. The large pizza oven delights as it bakes, roasts, and toasts.

The menu is seasonal so specials can be created using the freshest local ingredients. Check out the whole menu online but for starters, here are a few of the customer favorites:

Baby it’s cold out! Try the Wintergreen Salad with mixed greens, goat cheese, apple, roasted purple potato, walnut, dressed with honey herb vinaigrette.

Figs are in season! So is the Berry Fig Salad with spinach, figs, mint, goat cheese, and carrot all tossed with raspberry vinaigrette.

Colorado loves their beef sandwiches. Try the Chipotle Steak which layers flatiron steak, chipotle aioli, romaine, parmesan, and tomato.

Pizza pizza! Check out the Arugula Pizza… Whole wheat crust (all the pizzas are!) topped with La Querceria prosciutto, arugula, olive oil, pear and gorgonzola. Also available with gluten free crust.
